On 6th of December a very special winter tale began for the very first time in Sarajevo, and it will last until 8th of January 2020. Winter Time Festival was officially opened in Skenderija Center. Besides a huge ice skating rink being opened, many visitors will have the chance to enjoy the rich programmes held inside the former two story ARS AEVI Gallery. Frozen inspired forest, fireplace corner, Santa Claus and even a big live stage where many popular musicians will perform. Of course, none of it could happen without some typical holiday food like Christmas cookies and mulled wine. This the first “indoors” winter festival in the region, where the visitors will be warm and cozy inside. There will also be a “cashless zone”, which, here in the Balkans is kind of a rare thing to come by. So definitely visit Sarajevo for a lovely, and yet completely affordable winter vacation and make sure you pay a visit to the Winter Time Festival.
